In Luxembourg, you can recycle our boxes in those light-blue Valorlux recycling bags that get picked up all over the country. Just leave the bag near the street on your street’s pick-up date. NOT PERFECT,
BUT BETTER.
We use Tetra Pak to package our water. It’s not perfect, but it’s better. A plastic bottle requires up to 5 times more water than Tetra Pak just to manufacture it. The carbon footprint of Tetra Pak is less than half that of plastic, and it uses far fewer resources to produce than plastic. And Tetra Pak is mostly made from paper, a recyclable and renewable resource. The end result is a container that is lighter than glass and more compact than plastic, so it results in less carbon emission when it’s shipped.
Oh, and another win for the environment: our water is sourced nearby, which means it’s close to people who drink it. Unlike other water that has to cross the Alps to get here. The Alps are very high.
